Trace and access for your insurance claim
Trace and access is the part of many buildings insurance policies that may cover the cost of locating a hidden leak and gaining access to it. Cover varies by policy, so we recommend checking with your insurer.
We use a range of specialist techniques and equipment, including cutting-edge 3D scanning, thermal imaging and acoustic sensors, to locate leaks from the surface before any opening-up is undertaken. Where access is required, we target only the areas indicated by our findings, helping to minimise damage and disruption.
We have successfully located the source of every leak we have investigated to date. If we cannot locate your leak, you don’t pay for the investigation.

What the report gives you and your insurer
Our clear, professional report includes:
Cause and location of the leak
Investigation methods and equipment used
Clear findings and supporting photographs
Recommended remedial works
Fully itemised repair quotation
Professional documentation to support your insurance claim
Once your claim is approved, we take care of everything from start to finish. The same experienced team repairs the leak, dries the affected areas and completes the reinstatement and redecoration, giving you and your insurer one point of contact throughout the entire process.
